Anna Ortega joined to the Pinal County School Office in June 2005 as an Accountant I and was promoted to Accounting Supervisor in March 2007. She previously was employed by Ray Unified School District #3 as Business Manager.

Anna supervises accountants and participates in the overall financial activities of the fiscal services department. She responds to inquiries made by the school districts and/or the public and works closely with the County Treasurer Office. Anna’s other duties include reconciling; processing fiscal services department payroll; accounts payable processing for FEA, SRF and GSF; makes recommendations and implements accounting procedures; works with accounting principles, practices and methods; analyzes and interprets fiscal/accounting reports.

Anna resides in Mesa, AZ and has 2 children; Travis, age 16 and Rebecca, age 14. Her hobbies include shopping, traveling, home décor, and most of all spending time with her children.
