Anisa Stout a 7th grader from Oracle Elementary will represent Pinal County at the Arizona State Spelling Bee in March.

59th Annual Pinal County Spelling Bee

The 59th Annual Pinal County Spelling Bee was held on February 4, 2022 at Combs Performing Arts Center in San Tan Valley. 43 students from 14 districts took the stage to compete for the champion trophy and the shot to represent Pinal County at the Arizona State Spelling Bee on March 17, 2022. 

Anisa Stout a 7th grader from Oracle Elementary took home the champion trophy by correctly spelling "ordinance". Close behind her taking home second place was Adalynn Richardson, a 8th grader from Leading Edge Mountain View. Coming in third and taking home some hardware was 5th grader Azaire McDonald from Legacy Traditional Maricopa.
