Pinal County Superintendent of Schools Office Announcement:

RE:  Formation of the Board Appointment Advisory Committee

The Pinal County School Superintendent’s Office is pleased to announce the formation of the Board Appointment Advisory Committee. This Advisory Committee will play a critical role in the Board member appointment process when a vacancy arises on district governing board within Pinal County.

We are seeking five dedicated Pinal County citizens to sit on this committee. Your involvement will help ensure a thorough and community-driven selection process for appointing new board members. The Duration for an appointment to the Advisory Committee will be one year.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be a registered voter
  • Must reside in Pinal County
  • Must successfully pass a background check

Eligibility to serve on the committee is not restricted by your specific school district of residence within Pinal County.  You may be invited to participate on panels for any school district within the county that experiences a vacancy.

To be considered for this opportunity

1) Complete the BOARD APPOINTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE FORM and the BOARD APPOINTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE AFFIDAVIT ensuring all sections are fully completed. 

2) The affidavit must be notarized for your application to qualify.

3) Submit BOTH completed documents to Nicole.O’Brien@pinal.gov NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2024
